Although I am now living back in my hometown of sunny Nelson, I first became a Marriage Celebrant while living on Waiheke Island, as it is an extremely popular place to tie the knot.

I saw wedding parties and happy couples all around me every weekend and wanted to share in that joy. Since then I have united all kinds of people of different: race, religions, sexual preferences, socio-economic backgrounds, on/in : beaches, halls, venues with incredible views, their own homes and vineyards. The weddings have been both formal and informal and I have enjoyed every moment of it.

The couples I have worked with have, without exception, been very happy with the services I provide.

 When not officiating at weddings, I am an author, artist and part-time ESL (English as a second Language) teacher.
